  1. HSE Policy

    Our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Policy is characterized by:

    Each ALBAJRAWIA employee is individually responsible for protecting the health and safety of people and community, and to the protecting of the environment.

    BF Management recognises that a high standard of HSE is fundamental to achieve the companys business mission and for continuous improvement of performance.

    We in BF are committed to:

    • Apply an effective HSE Management System to minimize injuries, occupational health hazards and damage to property and to the environment.
    • Identify Potential Hazards associated with our activities and take appropriate measures to reduce the level of risk to As-Low-As-Reasonably-Practicable and to manage their effects.
    • Record incidents or non-compliances; determine and address the root cause to prevent their recurrence.
    • Maintain Documentation Systems to assure compliance with project standards and satisfy customer needs.
    • Optimise the usage of material and energy on an on-going basis and to enhance sustainable development.
    • Ensure that ALBJRAWIA contractors and suppliers adhere to this or a more stringent HSE Management System.
    • Co-operate with the industry in raising general safety awareness by sharing expertise, lessons learned and to follow examples for best practices.
    • Promote external programs for the community and customers and to keep the public informed of the HSE aspects of our operations and products.
    • Comply with the laws, regulations and standards of the countries in which we operate.
  2. Alcohol & Drug Policy

    To ensure Health, Safety and welfare of all its employees, its sub contractor’s employees and the persons affected by its operations, ALBJRAWIA shall commit to the following Alcohol and Drug policy.

    • Unauthorised possession or consumption of alcohol, intoxicating drugs or substances at ALBJRAWIA is strictly prohibited in compliance with the international laws and regulations.
    • No employee shall be permitted to enter any site under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs. Any employee believed to be under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs / substances shall be refused admittance to, or, evicted from the ALBJRAWIA and be liable for disciplinary action.
    • May be any employee consuming non-prescriptive medicine, which adversely affect performance of work ought to bring to the notice of the Dept. manager.
    • Authorised liquor permit holders must show due diligence in strictly adhering to the rules and regulations concerning the place, time and surrounding for consuming They shall be responsible for their personal conduct. Any misconduct shall be viewed very strictly with attendant disciplinary action.
    • The effectiveness of this policy and its implementation shall be monitored.
